As a Commercial Innovation Program Manager at the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), Sode oversees CASIS activities around developing strategic partnerships with NASA to other governmental agencies, startups to Fortune 500 companies, financial sectors from VCs to philanthropic organizations, and K-12 education program organizers to academic institutions, with particular focus in Silicon Valley. She combines her multi-disciplinary background from astronomy, aerospace engineering, medical imaging to biomechanics, and passion for space to advocate for utilizing space environment to advance science, technology and R&D to higher potentials for the benefit of lives on Earth, as well as to inspire next generation thorough STEM and outreach programs.
