Riccardo oversees partnerships, collaborations and investments for Novozymes new growth and innovation areas in North America. Prior to Novozymes he was in the Strategy and M&A team at DuPont Industrial Biosciences, and has held various business development positions in the Ag, Nutrition and Industrial Biotech space at Arcadia Biosciences and the Swiss synthetic biology company, Evolva. Riccardo holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of California – Davis, and was responsible for the foundational research that elucidated the role of Human Milk Oligosaccharides and Bidifobacteria to promote a healthy infant microbiome.
